Subprocessors
Volunteer Circle uses a small set of trusted service providers (“subprocessors”) to operate. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell personal data.

| Subprocessor | Purpose | Data processed | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Application database, authentication, and file storage | All church and volunteer data, accounts, and uploaded files | United States |
| Cloudflare Stream | Training video hosting and delivery | Uploaded training videos and viewing access tokens | United States / global CDN |
| Stripe | Subscription billing and payment processing | Church billing contact and payment details (handled by Stripe) | United States |
| Resend | Transactional and notification email delivery | Recipient name and email address, notification contents | United States |
| Anthropic (Claude) | Optional AI-assisted suggestions (e.g., draft messages and care prompts) | Only the limited content a leader submits for a suggestion (e.g., a draft message or recent message text); not used to train models | United States |
AI-assisted features are optional and, where a church enables them, the only AI provider is Anthropic (Claude), processing in the United States. Anthropic does not use content submitted through its API to train or improve its models. A leader chooses when to use an AI suggestion; only the limited content needed for that suggestion is sent.
